le petit prince

I first read this book at Abbey del Sol
while DRL and I were on our honeymoon.

I fell instantly in love with it.

I read it again
while I was in Mexico last weekend.

Yesterday,
I saw a gorgeous pop-up version
at anthropologie
and had to have it.

It's full of
big, thick pages,

gorgeous full-color
pop-out
illustrations

and
moving parts.
Like stars, and cards,
and snakes.

If you haven't read this book,
you should.

It's full of magic.
Wisdom.
Truth.
Wonder.

Cheers,
A

Speaking of "Reading..."

This is Elena.
"Reading"
Stella's favorite book.

It's called "Yucchy Yucchy"
and it's centered around Oscar the Grouch
and his love
of all things
...
gross.

She even tries to do the muppet voices.

Enjoy.

Cheers,
A

Ouvrir le Livre

Listen to the MUSTN'TS child,

Listen to the DON'TS

Listen to the SHOULDN'TS

The IMPOSSIBLES, the WON'TS

Listen to the NEVER HAVES

Then listen close to me --

Anything can happen child,

ANYTHING can be.

Draw a crazy picture,

Write a nutty poem,

Sing a mumble-gumble song,

Whistle through your comb.

Do a loony-goony dance

'Cross the kitchen floor,

Put something silly in the world

That ain't been there before.

If you don't own these books,

you should

(these things are fun,

and fun is good....)

Cheers,

A

Bloodsucker. Dog.

I have finished all the books in Stephanie Meyer's Twilight saga.

A book review is forthcoming.

As is the third movie in the series.

I will not review those.

Except to say,

"Watch at your own risk.

And don't watch for the acting."

After much consideration, I feel that in order to give you

dear readers

the best review possible,

I should read the saga

One

More

Time.

Just to be safe.

So you'll have to wait a while longer to see what I thought.

Cheers,

A
