Today is gloomy.
It is supposed to rain.
Which will do wonders for the Texas wildflowers
that are trying
so desperately
to grow.
Bloom.
It's my mama's last day in town with us.
It's been so very nice having her around.
My dishes keep getting done.
The toys keep getting picked up and put away.
There's a constant smile on the faces of my girls.
We're off to Fredericksburg.
I have some work to do,
and when I'm done,
Elena, my mom, and I are going to putz around
the sleepy little German town.
