"Mama Made You Slippers."

She said as she saw me place the slippers on the floor to take their photo.

(she still refers to herself largely as "you" or "Elena." There is no "I" in her vocabulary. Or in Team.)

This is before I put the slippers in the washing machine to felt:

I have not taken the "after" shot yet. But they look basically the same.

Once dry, I will sew leather bottoms so Elena doesn't slip and fall when she wears them.

Felted wool + hardwood floors + two year old = disaster.

Grip will be miraculously helpful.
