When Elena was about the age
that Stella is now
she used to make
a certain
noise.
It sounded as if she was trying to speak,
to say the word "tickle" perhaps,
but all that would come out was
'jig-ul, jig-ul, jig-ul, jig-ul."
We nicknamed her "The Jiggle Monster."

I found a lighter version of this recipe in the America's Test Kitchen Healthy Family cookbook. The cookies aren't quite as delicious as these, but they still are pretty tasty. I made them last week and brought most to sewing night and the ladies ate them all! This is my new FAVORITE cookbook. I am cooking almost exclusively from this these days. Tonight we are having skillet chicken pot pie from this book- YUM!
