Professional Help

On Friday I had the amazing opportunity
and extreme pleasure
of meeting with a professional photographer
in town from Madison, WI
to shoot a Hill Country wedding.

Her name is Anda.
We {met} via the twitternet.
I blog-stalked her for quite awhile.

Then I started emailing her.
I asked questions.
Sought advice.

She was always so prompt in her response.
Wise.
Kind.

When I found out she was coming to town
the very weekend before I shoot my first
official
wedding,
I knew we had to meet!
She wears Toms.
She has the exact
same
camera bag
as me.

And even though she shoots Canon....
Meeting her,
well,

It was density.
(name that movie)
She helped me understand Shutter Priority.
And shooting on full manual.

{Thank you, oh wise one. Thank you}

And made me feel
a little more confident
about this whole wedding photography endeavor
upon which I am about to embark.

Dive headfirst into
actually.

I hope I make you proud.

And again,
Anda,
THANK YOU.

And,
Dear readers,
Cross those fingers for me on Saturday,
will ya?

Pretty pleeeeeease?

With a future hat-giveaway on top?

You're the best!

Cheers,
A
